For institutions that have created true impact in the efficient execution of FAO Projects.The Edouard Saouma Award is presented to a national or regional institution that has implemented with particular efficiency a project funded by FAO’s Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP). Best Contribution to Global Food Security .The Jacques Diouf Award is presented biennially to individuals or national/regional institutions that have made a significant contribution to the improvement of global food security. For exceptional application of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.The Margarita Lizárraga Medal is awarded biennially to a person or organization that has served with distinction in the application of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries. The FAO Country Awards recognize outstanding progress in fighting hunger. The number of countries honoured by these awards is steadily growing as governments continue to fulfil their pledge to eradicate hunger globally.
