Page ContentThe industry leading germplasm is now available to growers through Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ soybeans. Monsanto's Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ soybeans have been approved for commercialization. This is an important milestone for the industry's first biotech-stacked soybean trait with both dicamba and glyphosate herbicide tolerance, pending regulatory approvals. The same yield and quality potential farmers already know and trust from their Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield® Soybeans and Genuity® Bollgard II® with Roundup Ready® Flex Cotton Control of glyphosate-resistant broadleaf weeds such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and marestail, along with other tough-to-control broadleaf weeds such as lambsquarters and velvetleaf Up to 14 days soil activity for small-seeded broadleaf weeds, including waterhemp, lambsquarters and Palmer amaranth, to help primary residual herbicides keep fields clean through canopy. Results may vary, depending on rainfall and soil type. Dicamba should always be used with a recommended primary residual product. Extended application flexibility of dicamba to before, at and after planting Now Commercially Available. Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ Soybeans is the industry's first biotech-stacked soybean trait with both dicamba and glyphosate herbicide tolerance. Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ is built on the high yielding Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield® soybean technology. Expected to launch in 2016. Over-the-top dicamba use is pending regulatory approval. DO NOT APPLY DICAMBA HERBICIDE IN-CROP TO Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ Soybeans IN 2016 unless you use a dicamba herbicide product that is specifically labeled for that use in the location where you intend to make the application. While no in-crop use of dicamba is currently approved, some dicamba products may be labeled for weed control prior to planting a crop and subject to minimum plant back restrictions. IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL AND STATE LAW TO MAKE AN IN-CROP APPLICATION OF ANY DICAMBA HERBICIDE PRODUCT ON Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ Soybeans, OR ANY OTHER PESTICIDE APPLICATION, UNLESS THE PRODUCT LABELING SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZES THE USE. Contact the U.S. EPA and your state pesticide regulatory agency with any questions about the approval status of dicamba herbicide products for in-crop use with Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™ Soybeans and follow all pesticide product labeling. Now Approved. Bollgard II® XtendFlex® is the first triple stack herbicide-tolerance technology in cotton, with tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides. Tolerance to three unique modes of action to provide added choice and flexibility to apply multiple combinations of these three herbicides pre- and/or post-plant for a very effective weed management system. Over-the-top dicamba use is pending regulatory approval. DO NOT APPLY DICAMBA HERBICIDE IN-CROP TO BOLLGARD II® XTENDFLEX® or XTENDFLEX® COTTON IN 2016 unless you use a dicamba herbicide product that is specifically labeled for that use in the location where you intend to make the application. While no in-crop use of dicamba is currently approved, some dicamba products may be labeled for weed control prior to planting a crop and subject to minimum plant back restrictions. IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL AND STATE LAW TO MAKE AN IN-CROP APPLICATION OF ANY DICAMBA HERBICIDE PRODUCT ON BOLLGARD II®XTENDFLEX® or XTENDFLEX® COTTON, OR ANY OTHER PESTICIDE APPLICATION, UNLESS THE PRODUCT LABEL SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZES THE USE. Contact the U.S. EPA or your state pesticide regulatory agency with any questions about the approval status of dicamba herbicide products for IN-CROP USE WITH Bollgard II® XtendFlex® or XtendFlex® cotton and follow all pesticide product labeling. Monsanto intends to introduce a herbicide premix of dicamba and glyphosate, to be branded upon registration as Roundup Xtend™ with VaporGrip™ technology. This low-volatility formulation is expected to provide farmers with an additional choice for broad-spectrum control of weeds. Upon regulatory approvals, it will be labeled for use before, at and after planting in the Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System. VaporGrip™ technology is a proprietary technology that is designed to help significantly reduce volatile dicamba compared to commercially available products containing DMA dicamba. Monsanto intends to introduce a straight goods dicamba product for tank mixing, to be branded upon registration as XtendiMax™ herbicide with VaporGrip™ technology. Upon regulatory approvals, it will be labeled for use before, at and after planting in the Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System.
