I Look Like A Farmer Campaign

Almost about four years ago is when I sat up began to notice how many women were entering agriculture, many as first generation farmers. It wasn't till a bit later that I set out to document the women in my own farming community, first with a phone camera and then a borrowed "big" camera. Since then I have traveled across the US and Europe, writing and sharing portraits of female farmers (and now I own my own camera!) and documenting a revolution in progress. If we're going to make a BIG shift in how people think, we all need to work together to make others sit up and notice. So here's my challenge to you.  Take a picture of yourself, or have someone take one of you, post it your social media accounts on Tuesday, March 8th - International Women's Day. Post to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc  and Hashtag to Make sure your post is public so I can find you and I will re-post, re-gram, re-tweet.
