Dial 202-224-3121 to be connected to your Senators. ********************************** Here is a sample script of what to say: Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent of Senator _________.  I am calling to urge you to support GMO labeling and reject any attempts to block on-package GMO labeling in the Senate.  The DARK Act -- which was passed in the House last year and just introduced in the Senate by Senator Roberts (KS) -- would pre-empt GMO labeling laws already passed in Vermont, Maine and Connecticut and pending legislation in 17 other states. It would also make it virtually impossible for the Food and Drug Administration to ever require mandatory labeling nationwide and codify our broken voluntary labeling system. Like most Americans, I simply want to know what’s in my food and how it was produced. That is why I support GMO labeling. The DARK Act keeps consumers in the dark. I urge you to do everything in your power to keep it out of the Senate and instead support our right to know what's in our food.
